Today November 11, 2014 Google Search Philippines features the Winning drawing for Doodle 4 Google 2014 Philippines.

“This is a sarimanok inspired idea. It symbolizes Filipino culture with deep appreciation of hard work and creativity,” wrote Saren of his doodle.

The 15-year-old high school student Kim Patrick Saren, won the first Doodle 4 Google in the Philippines, at the Music Hall, Mall of Asia in Pasay City. Kim Patrick Saren, who studies at Nabunturan National Comprehensive High School, Compostela Valley.

Kim Patrick S. Saren received a specially designed trophy by Google, an 11" Acer C720 Chromebook, Acer kit from National Book Store, ₱400,000.00 educational grant from BPI foundation for the college of his choice and ₱350,000.00 connectivity grant for his present school from PLDT-SMART foundation. He was the winner for the 15-17 age group.
