Another Filipino-American is one step closer to the National Basketball Association after signing with the Golden State Warriors.
Point guard Aaron Craft, who is reportedly a quarter Filipino, signed a one-year, partially-guaranteed contract with the Warriors.
Craft was undrafted coming out of Ohio State University but had a strong showing during the NBA Summer League in Orlando and Las Vegas, where he played for the Philadelphia 76ers and Warriors, respectively.
The accomplished college star will be with the Warriors during their upcoming training camp.
According to rantsports.com, Aaron Craft also became known as a lockdown perimeter defender during his days at Ohio State despite his 6-foot-2 frame and weighing in at 195 pounds. While Livingston is also more than capable of manning the perimeter in bench-heavy units for the Warriors, adding another player who can bully opposing point guards in the point guard-heavy Western Conference certainly wouldn’t hurt.
